The Secret... find out what mine is...

After my Mum passed away in December of 2005, I began to eat emotionally. I had always been big, but over the next two years I started pilling on the kilos quickly, eating compulsively in the mistaken belief that I could use food to cheer myself up. Then, early this year, my sister announced her upcoming wedding in England and told me about a diet she was on called “The Cambridge Diet.” She said I should look up the website to see if it was available in Australia.

That’s how I met my councellor, Mandy.

Mandy understood right from the start how I was feeling and got me straight onto Sole Source. I saw Mandy every week, and even contacted her when I needed a little extra reassurance - she was always willing to give me advice and ensure I was on track. The weekly one-on-one meeting with your councellor is one of the reasons the diet works so well - you always have someone to turn to, someone who has been on the Cambridge Sole Source program and has succeeded in changing their life!

Most people I speak with about Cambridge think that Sole Source sounds like the most difficult part, but it’s actually quite enjoyable. The flavours are great and after a few days you feel normal and not at all hungry. The second best part is when you jump on the scales at the end of the week and see just how much you have lost! The best part? That’s having someone to share your success with. For me, that was Mandy.

I am really looking forward to my sister’s wedding in March and I am very pleased with how I will look in my bridesmaid dress! I am now happier and healthier - I ride my bike to work most days, I love to take my dogs out for walks every night, and I am looking forward to taking up horse riding again.

I now believe anyone can lose weight, be healthy and feel happy and I tell everyone I know my secret, The Cambridge Diet!
